You are invited to join us Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM, either in person or online.
If you are considering visiting for the first time, we are committed to offering a warm welcome to all. We use the UCC Chalice hymnal and the NRSV Bible. Our pastor alternates between sermons, discussions and storytelling. We meet for about an hour and then have fellowship time with coffee and snacks afterwards. We are a very casual congregation. Children are welcome and remain with adults during the service. Communion is on the first Sunday of the month and is an open table to all.
The sanctuary was renovated in 2023 with new carpet and chairs instead of pews which makes for easier rearrangement. Our sanctuary has many users from other church groups to concerts and speaker series. Our membership reflects many different religious backgrounds. At its largest we had 13 different Christian denominations reflected among our membership including some interfaith couples. We all bring the best of our traditions to PCC. No matter what your background, you will find familiarity somewhere in our service. We believe our unity is in our diversity.
In our nearly 100 years of existence, many generations of children have grown up at PCC and we are always delighted to welcome them back during holiday visits. Church members love to welcome children in the service and at the communion table.
We are passionate about remaining a multi-generational community. Many people assume that children and adults will be in separate places on a Sunday morning, but faith is caught, rather than taught. Children learn to worship, sing and pray by participating in these activities.
We are in a transition period and do not currently provide nursery or Sunday School. Children are welcome to remain in worship and can color or read books.
